Oxendine for Governor Launches First TV Ad: “Contract with Georgia”

Today, Republican gubernatorial front-runner John Oxendine announced that he is launching his first TV ad.  The ad, titled “Contract with Georgia” features Oxendine’s reform plan to downsize government, scrap the income tax, and fix our infrastructure problems.

Oxendine Responds to Barnes’ Support of Obamacare

Today, John Oxendine responded to comments made last week by Democrat gubernatorial candidate Roy Barnes which criticized Commissioner Oxendine’s decision not to set up a state-run high-risk insurance pool that was inadequately funded by the federal government.

Statement from John Oxendine on the Governor’s Veto of Zero-Base Budgeting

“Making state government smaller and more accountable by implementing zero-base budgeting is the first point of my Contract with Georgia and has been a foundation of my campaign. Using zero-base budgeting will reduce waste and help ensure that funding is being allocated where it will be most effective in producing results for Georgians.
